The Girls Big Visit

Abigail and Addyson recently came to Tucson for a nice long visit. It was there first visit with out their Mommy, but they had a blast. We did not do much because the kids out numbered me 3 to 1 but it was still a very memorable experience. We spent most of the first two days at home playing but as a treat we went to McDonalds for lunch. We were also supposed to go to Costco but after a meltdown over Abigail’s car seat being “tight” we did not make it. The play area was also too big for the girls so we just decided to play at home. On the morning that the girls were supposed to leave Ryan woke up with a fever of almost 103! Poor Ryan had to go to the Doctor and the girls had to come to. Adam met us at the appointment so the girls who were “healthy” did not have to spend much time in the office, but he had to leave when we were called back. Ryan really did not like getting examined this time but he made it through. In addition to the sinus infection he was diagnosed with on Tuesday he now has an ear infection. The Doctor upped his antibiotics and sent us on our way. Because of the doctor appt. Carrah ended up driving all the way down here to get the girls. It was sad to see them leave because they were so good with Ryan and they had fun together. They kept him from feeling to lousy while he was sick. His fever proceeded to climb Friday night but was a lot lower during the day, and by Sunday I could tell he was feeling a little better (but cranky). I am just thankful that the infection is responding to the antibiotics. Our visit with the girls was busy and full of unexpected adventures but we can’t wait to do it again, but lets hope Ryan does not get sick this time!
